INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Investigators are asking for the public’s help with information that could lead to the arrest of a suspect involved in a Friday morning bank robbery in Indianapolis.

The FBI Safe Streets Task Force is looking for a suspect involved in a bank robbery at the Fifth Third Bank located at 7921 US 31 South Friday around 11:45 a.m.

The suspect passed a note to the bank teller, demanding money. Police say no weapon was seen but it was implied.

Investigators say the suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5 foot 6 inches to 5 foot 8 inches tall, weighing 150 to 170 pounds with sandy blonde hair, police say.

The suspect was seen wearing a black jacket with a dark blue hoodie that appears to have a yellow logo on it. The man was also wearing tan/olive pants with white or grey shows.

Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI Safe Streets Task Force at 317-595-4000 or Crime Stoppers at 317-262-TIPS (8477).
