INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The man accused in an Irvington rape had to have his charges read to him in court Tuesday because he can’t read.
Donald Wilson was arrested on Sept. 13 for a rape reported by a 15-year-old in the Indianapolis neighborhood. He was in court Tuesday to hear the charges against him.
A not guilty plea was entered for Wilson and a public defender was appointed to him. He was also ordered to not contact the reported victim.
Because of a previous case involving rape and burglary, Wilson is being held at the Marion County Jail without bond.
