ROSSVILLE, Ind. (WISH) - Police in Lafayette say they have apprehended a pair of knife-wielding hold-up men that may be responsible for three gas station robberies overnight in two counties.
Two gas stations in Tippecanoe County were robbed at knife-point before the pair hit a gas station in Rossville in Clinton County, police said. Investigators say the two men displayed knives as they entered the gas station located at Ind. 39 and Ind. 26.
The pair demanded money, cigars, and cigarettes. The cashier complied and later told police the pair took off westbound on Ind. 26 on foot.
Police said they picked up the two men a short time later in Lafayette and are questioning them at this time.
