KOKOMO, Ind. (Kokomo Tribune) - Howard County will hear the case of a Kokomo school bus driver accused of driving students while intoxicated, 24-Hour News 8’s news partner, the Kokomo Tribune , reports.
A judge ruled Monday the trial will stay in Howard County, despite driver Theresa Mast’s attempts to get it moved because of the publicity surrounding the incident.
Mast was accused of driving erratically along U.S. 31 with student athletes on board in December.
The judge set a preliminary jury trial date of July 13.
