KOKOMO, Ind. (WISH) - Two Kokomo bank robberies in the same week have a suspect with a similar description, 24-Hour News 8 news partner the Kokomo Tribune reports.
Most recently, the Kokomo Heritage Federal Credit Union, 901 S. Courtland Ave., was robbed at gunpoint just after 11 a.m. Thursday.
A man with a handgun demanded money and left running west from the bank. The suspect was described by witnesses as a white man who is 5-foot-10 and was wearing a dark-colored jacket, blue jeans, white tennis shoes and a green baseball cap. It’s similar to a description given after the Star Financial Bank, 1708 E. Markland Ave., was robbed on Dec. 28.
Anyone with further information about these robberies should contact Sgt. Doug Stout at 765-456-7353, or the KPD Hotline at 765-456-7017.
