Kokomo worker faces child molest charge

KOKOMO, Ind. (WISH) -  An employee of Kokomo’s street department has been suspended without pay while facing charges that he molested a 13-year-old girl, 24-Hour News 8’s news partner, the Kokomo Tribune , reports.

Ryan Reynolds, 32, is facing a Class A felony charge of child molesting. The heavy equipment operator turned himself into the Howard County Sheriff’s Department Tuesday night.

Court documents say Reynolds touched the girl inappropriately and had sexual intercourse with the girl last year at his home. They also say he told the girl if she told anyone, she would never see her cousin again.

Reynold’s first court appearance is March 1.
