WEST LAFAYETEE, Ind. (WLFI) - Ronnie Moore Jr., 20, of Lafayette got a 14-year sentence Friday after stealing items from a West Lafayette residence when he and his friends couldn't find a party they were looking for.

Moore stole several items including a laptop and X-Box in September. Police found Moore with some friends nearby, our sister station WLFI reports.

Tippecanoe County Prosecutor Pat Harrington said Moore will serve four years in prison, two years in community corrections and eight years of probation.
