LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WISH) - A jury found a Lafayette man guilty Thursday of murder in connection with a fatal shooting last summer .
Kevin Williams, 22, was also found guilty of robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery, 24-Hour News 8 news partner WLFI-TV reports.
Prosecutors said Williams, along with two other men, planned to rob Clarence Smith, 24, in July 2011 at Bristol Woods apartment complex in Lafayette, and when Smith didn’t cooperate, he was shot and killed.
Williams will be sentenced Aug. 22.
Michael Foster pleaded guilty to murder in March and was sentenced to 50 years in prison. Dartanyan Porche was found guilty of murder and conspiracy to commit robbery and was sentenced to 55 years in prison.
