INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department has identified a man who was found shot to death outside a north side apartment.
The shooting occurred near the intersection of 71st and Michigan on Bridgewood Street early Saturday morning.
Police arrived on scene to find a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, lying in the street. He was pronounced dead on scene.
The victim has been identified as 25-year-old Christopher Roberts of Indianapolis.
Police believe Roberts walked up behind a black SUV that was parked nearby the apartment. Shortly after, the victim was shot several times. Police say Roberts may have known his killer.
