Man, 53, died from multiple stab wounds

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Metro police have identified a 53-year-old man killed near a gas station on the southeast side of Indianapolis Wednesday night.

Police said Charles Lewis died from multiple stab wounds.

IMPD officers were called to the 1200 block of S. East Street just before 9 p.m.

Police told 24-Hour News 8 there is surveillance video from the gas station. Detectives are reviewing the video.
