COLUMBUS, Ind. (The Republic) - Police in Columbus arrested a man for the 20th time this year on Tuesday, after they said he was wandering drunk downtown, 24-Hour News 8’s news partner, The Republic , reports.
Joseph L. Nichols, 46, was arrested on preliminary charges of public intoxication and resisting law enforcement Tuesday night. He’s been arrested 16 times for alcohol-related offenses and four other times this year for outstanding warrants.
