BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) - A police pursuit lead to an arrest Sunday morning in Bartholomew County.

According to a release from the Indiana State Police, a trooper noticed a 2001 Lexus driving erratically on SR 46. The vehicle reportedly entered the northbound lane and began to speed.

When the trooper attempted to stop the driver, he started to drive at approximately 140 mph. The driver then attempted to exit I-65 at exit 80, but lost control of the vehicle and became stuck in a field.

The trooper arrested 25-year-old David Miller of Columbus. Miller was taken to the Bartholomew County Jail where he is facing charges of resisting law enforcement with a vehicle and driving while intoxicated.
