INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department arrested a man after an officer was injured by explosives Wednesday night.
Police say an officer had to be checked out at the hospital Wednesday night after an explosive device went off and four small explosive devices were found on East Legrande Avenue just off of South Meridian Street.
Police believe the devices were thrown from one home in the area, at another.
Police said William Williams had pressurized bottles in his possession and was arrested. He was being held Friday in the Marion County Jail.
