INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A man was arrested Monday in connection with the shooting death of his nephew, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said.
Richard Drollinger Jr., 37, was arrested Monday after questioning at IMPD headquarters. Police said he was preliminarily charged in connection with the Feb. 5 shooting death of Derik Tanner, 20 .
Tanner was found dead inside a home on the west side of Indianapolis, near 16th Street and Livingston Avenue, shortly after 10:30 p.m. Feb. 5.
Drollinger was being held Monday night at the Arrestee Processing Center, awaiting an initial hearing.
