FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) - One man has been arrested in Franklin County after a lengthy investigation.

Just after 6 p.m. on Sept. 17, members of the Indiana State Police Meth Suppression Section served a search warrant at the 15000 block of New Harmony Road in Bath.

The investigation was the result of information obtained during a meth investigation in Liberty that began last year which resulted in an arrest in Union County.

Information obtained during that investigation led troopers to believe methamphetamine was being manufactured at the resident on New Harmony Road.

After investigating for several months, enough of a probably caused was obtained to obtain a search warrant on the residence.

Various items were located during the investigation, including precursors commonly associated with the manufacture of methamphetamine, troopers say.

Kevin Thomas, 47, of Bath, was arrested without incident and is facing charges of manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine precursors and maintaining a common nuisance, all Class D felonies.
