BEDFORD, Ind. (AP) - A southern Indiana has been charged with causing the deaths of three people, including his wife, while drunken driving.
The Times-Mail reports 31-year-old Kyle Hutton of Bedford was charged Tuesday with three counts of causing a death when operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol content of more than 0.15 percent. A probable cause affidavit says Hutton's blood alcohol content was 0.27 percent, more than three times the legal limit.
No court date has been set for his initial appearance. A court spokeswoman says there was no record of him hiring an attorney.
Thirty-year-old Morgan Hutton of Bedford and two friends died July 28 when their vehicle went off a road and struck a utility pole.
Hutton was released from jail after posting a $50,000 bond.
