Man critical in NE side shooting

INDIANAPOLIS, IN.(WISH) - One person is in critical condition at IU-Methodist Hospital after being shot on the city's northeast side.
Witnesses told authorities they found a 37 year old man suffering multiple gunshot wounds outside of a home at 3507 North Butler around 7:30 Thursday evening.
Investigators have been told that the man who was shot was standing in the middle of the street, when a black SUV pulled up, and a person got out.
Police say it appears that the person shot and the suspect were going to fight, when the suspect produced a gun and started shooting striking the victim.
The victim was taken to Wishard Memorial Hospital where he is listed in critical condition.
His name has not been released.
