Man faces federal charges of molest, child exploitation

ANDERSON, Ind. (The Herald Bulletin) - An Anderson man is facing federal charges of molest and child exploitation after he took photographs of an 8-year-old girl he was babysitting.
James V. Carroll, 68, faces six charges of child exploitation and one charge of possession of child pornography for incidents in three counties during 2003 and 2007, 24-Hour News 8’s news partner The Herald Bulletin reports.
A girl, now 13, says when she was 8 years old Carroll had shown her child porn, molested her and photographed her nude, according to court documents.
Carroll made a motion to suppress evidence. The court denied his motion.
He now awaits his trial to begin in May.
