INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A jury found a murder suspect not guilty of the crime Wednesday.

After deliberating seven hours, a jury found James Luckett not guilty of murder, but guilty of carrying a handgun without a license.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department arrested Luckett in November 2010 in connection with the fatal shooting of Craig Hammond, who was found dead in the front yard of a home in the 1700 block of North Ritter Avenue on Oct. 30, 2010.

His sentencing is set for June 13.
