Man found shot dead outside local motel

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A man was found shot to death outside a local hotel early Sunday morning.
Officials say the incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. Sunday morning at the Mayfair Motel on Lafayette Road.
A man told police he was driving near the motel when he saw an unidentified man lying in the parking lot. Officers arrived on scene and found the man had died of a gunshot wound.
Police are investigating this incident.
