Man gets 50 years in prison in homeless man's beating death

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - One of the men charged in the beating death of a homeless man in downtown Indianapolis in April 2011 has been sentenced to 50 years in prison.

James Crombaugh pleaded guilty last month to murder in the death of Stephen McGuire , 61, who was found dead April 21, 2011, at a loading dock near Ohio and Meridian streets.

Three others were charged in connection with the incident. One, Jordan Strickland, is scheduled to go to trial in June.
