INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A Mexican man will spent 10 years in prison for his role in trafficking drugs between Mexico, Chicago and Indianapolis, according to U.S. Attorney Joseph Hogsett.
Agustin Lozano, 35, pleaded guilty, admitting he obtained large amounts of cocaine and methamphetamine for distribution in Indianapolis.
An eight month investigation began in July 2010 when an undercover Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officer bought cocaine on the west side. The investigation led to the seizure of 48 kilograms of cocaine, 4.4 pounds of meth, 184 pounds of marijuana, 18 guns and $69,535 in cash.
Lozano is subject to deportation after his release from prison.
