INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A man who was found guilty in the June 2011 murder of a 61-year-old has been sentenced to 60 years.
Anthony Shockley was found guilty of two counts of attempted murder and one count of robbery in October.
In June 2011 , Shockley was arrested, along with two other teens, in connection to the murder of 61-year-old Clayton Battice.
Battice was killed outside of his apartment at Bavarian Village after returning from work.
Shockley also faces charges of criminal recklessness, criminal gang activity, and corrupt business influence and a criminal gang sentence enhancement for his alleged involvement in the Pop it Off Boyz gang. The jury trial for those charges is set for Dec. 17 at 9 a.m. in Criminal Court 2.
