INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — A southern Indiana man who pleaded guilty to trading graphic sexual images of infants and small children has been sentenced to nine years in federal prison.
Patrick Durrett was sentenced Tuesday on charges of possession and distribution of child pornography.
Court documents say 24-year-old Durrett sent graphic images to an undercover FBI agent over a computer network last February. Agents who searched Durrett's New Albany home in March reported finding sex images mostly of children under age 5 on his computer, including a baby girl.
Prosecutors say some of the images were created by an international child pornography ring led by a Bloomington man that was busted last year. That investigation has led to at least 20 arrests.
