Man shot after knock on the door

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - One man was seriously injured early Friday morning when someone shot him through the back door of his home.
It happened around 2 a.m. at a home near 34th Street and Parker Avenue.
Officers told 24-Hour News 8 a 61-year-old man heard two knocks, went to answer the door and was shot before opening it. He was shot in the chest.
Investigators don’t believe the man knew the shooter.
