INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public's help to find a suspect in a Craigslist scam that turned into an armed robbery.
Earlier this month, IMPD said, a person representing iPhone Solutions Indy met with the suspect, Clifford King, to buy used iPhones. When the two met in the 2800 block of Forrest Manor, however, King got into the victim's car and robbed him at gunpoint, police said, taking $1,500, the victim's iPhone and a broken iPhone.
A warrant has been issued for King's arrest. His photo can be seen above. He is described as about 5-foot-5-inches, 150 pounds.
Anyone with information should call IMPD robbery division at 317-327-3733 or Crime Stoppers at 262-TIPS (8477). Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous, and information that leads to felony arrest may be eligible for cash reward.
