LOGANSPORT, Ind. (WISH) - An Indiana mayor’s son was arrested on Wednesday after police officials said they found three pounds of marijuana in a car.
Indiana State Police officials said they pulled over a car for a traffic violation and discovered the marijuana. Jeremy Franklin, 31, and Edward Prince, 28, were both arrested on preliminary felony charges of possession and dealing a controlled substance.
24-Hour News 8’s news partner, the Pharos-Tribune , reports that Franklin is the son of Logansport Mayor Ted Franklin.
The traffic stop and arrests happened around 10 p.m. Wednesday on U.S. 24, east of Monticello.
