BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) - A 40-year-old man was arrested after police discovered a methamphetamine lab in his broken down van.

Eric Packman of Brown County, Ind. was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine after police discovered the lab.

A police officer noticed Packman's vehicle broken down on US 31 near Lowell Road Sunday morning and pulled over to help the stranded driver. While talking with Packman, the officer noticed that there had been a body attachment issued for him.  A body attachment allows an officer to take a suspect in non-criminal cases into custody.

The officer searched the vehicle and found indicators of a methamphetamine lab. The officer described the meth lab as "a mobile bomb."

Experts from both the Sheriff's Department and the Indiana State Police were summoned to dismantle the drug lab, our partners at the Republic report.

Packman is currently being held in the Bartholomew County Jail and could face a prison sentence of up to 20 years.
