According to a release from the Indiana State Police, troopers stopped a 2002 Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck in North Vernon for a traffic violation. During the traffic stop, officers requested K-9 assistance when they suspected drug activity.

The K-9 officer found a backpack with methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia inside.
