FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WISH) - A mom and her boyfriend have been charged with physically and emotionally abusing four kids, three of whom have been diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder, 24-Hour News 8 news partner WANE-TV reports.
Police said Breezy Parker, the children’s mother, left her boyfriend, Antonio Henderson, to watch them while she was at work. The children – ages 8, 5, 4 and 1 - told investigators he injured them and threatened to put them in a cage with a pet boa constrictor.
The children were taken to an hospital, and one of them, a girl, had a skull fracture, bruises and scratches, WANE-TV reports. Another, a boy, had a hemorrhage in his left eye, bruises and soft tissue damage to his head.
The kids told investigators Henderson would force the boys to throw a blanket over their sister and beat her up – something he called a “blanket party.” The kids also said Henderson would choke the girl and swing her around by her feet, and would also choke the other children until they passed out – calling that “Night-night.”
