GREENSBURG, Ind. (WISH) - A Greensburg mother was sentenced Friday to 10 years in prison in connection with her 4-year-old son's death.

Courtney Tressler was arrested in August 2010 after autopsy results showed her son, who died in May 2010, had been starved to death . According to court documents, Peyton Wesley Ettinger weighed 12 pounds when he died.

Tressler faced neglect and reckless homicide charges, but in September she agreed to plead guilty to a lesser neglect charge, which would carry a lighter sentence.
