INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A woman found guilty of leaving her infant and toddler home alone was sentenced in court Tuesday.
Clarissa Brewer, 20, was sentenced to 541 days of probation and must undergo drug and alcohol testing. Additionally, she must complete 16 hours of community service.
Brewer was f ound guilty on two counts of neglec t of a dependent in October.
Police found Brewer's two children home alone in April after a resident heard a baby crying inside their apartment. Police also arrested the children's father Bruce Daniel Jr.
