INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Police arrested four people Wednesday evening in Fountain Square who are suspected of gang activity.
The arrests follow the recent arrests of 14 suspected gang members in the Fountain Square area.
Heather Springfield, Brittany Tindle, and two juveniles were taken into custody and face criminal gang intimidation and criminal gang activity charges. A fifth person fled the scene and got away.
Police say the suspects were following a woman, yelling at her and flashing gang signs. The woman was able to make it home safely, but when a neighbor noticed the commotion and told the suspects to leave, one of the suspects attacked her.
Police arrived on the scene minutes later and made the arrests.
