INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - After a 72-hour investigation, detectives from the Metro Drug Task Force have seized more than 10 pounds of crystal methamphetamine.

Around 8 p.m. Tuesday, detectives conducted a ‘knock and talk’ on a residence on Alpine Drive. After making contact with residents inside, a K-9 unit gave an indication that there were narcotics in the home.

Detectives served a warrant and found several packages of high grade crystal methamphetamine in the ceiling of the attic.

In addition to finding the drugs, a scale and $2,400 in cash was located.

Jose Cota and Oscar Guiterrez were both arrested and preliminarily charged with dealing and possession of methamphetamine, Class A and Class C felonies.

Both are being held at the Marion County Jail on $50,000 bonds.

The packages of methamphetamine weighted approximately 11 pounds, with a street value of more than $200,000.
