GOSHEN, Ind. (AP) — A Goshen man faces drug charges after authorities who raided his home say they found $150,000 worth of cocaine inside.
Chief Investigator Ed Windbigler of the Elkhart County Prosecutor's office says 32-year-old Martin Garcia-Rodriguez was ordered held Thursday on a $150,000 bond and remained in the county jail. An initial hearing has been set for March 21. It was unclear if Garcia-Rodriguez has hired an attorney.
He's charged with possession of cocaine with intent to deliver.
Garcia-Rodriguez was arrested Tuesday after a raid on his home by the state police, Goshen police and the Elkhart County Interdiction and Covert Enforcement Unit. Authorities said they found 140 grams of cocaine inside the home. They said the arrest was the result of a two-month investigation.
