BATESVILLE, Ind. (The Herald-Tribune) - Police have arrested three Batesville residents in connection to two incidents.
Batesville police officers arrested one person for armed robbery and two others for theft, 24-Hour News 8’s news partner The Herald-Tribune reports.
Dewell Zach Kirby, 27, was arrested after he allegedly robbed a Save on Tobacco store while ordering the clerk to the ground, holding a sharp object.
He faces preliminary charges of armed robbery, a Class B felony, and theft, a Class D felony.
Two other Batesville residents were arrested after officers found a car stolen back in August abandoned in Cincinnati.
Quincy Collier, 18, and Miranda Foley, 22 were arrested for the incident.
Collier faces a preliminary charge of auto theft, a Class D felony, and Foley faces a preliminary charge of conspiracy to commit theft, a Class D felony.
The three residents were all taken to the Ripley County Jail.
