KOKOMO, Ind. (WISH) - Kokomo officers serving a warrant uncovered an active methamphetamine lab this week.
Officers with the Kokomo Drug Task Force went to the home in the 1700 block of South Purdum Street Wednesday afternoon.
The task force arrested three people after discovering heroin, controlled substances, meth, and the meth lab, according to police.
August Mack was arrested on three warrants for failure to appear. He also faces preliminary charges of manufacturing meth within 1,000 feet of public housing, possession of meth within 1,000 feet of public housing and illegal drug lab.
Scott Hook was arrested on preliminary charges of manufacturing meth within 1,000 feet of public housing, possession of meth within 1,000 feet of public housing, illegal drug lab, and possession of a controlled substance.
Lora Lea Smith was arrested on preliminary charges of maintaining a common nuisance, possession of meth within 1,000 feet of public housing, illegal drug lab and possession of a controlled substance.
