VALPARAISO, Ind. (WISH) - Officials say the Valparaiso University campus is secure after an unspecified threat of violence Friday.

The threat occurred between 11:15 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. on Friday. Authorities alerted students and faculty to be on the look out for any suspicious activity.

This threat occurred on the same day North Dakota State University and the University of Texas were evacuated for bomb threats. However, officials say Valpo was not threatened with a bomb.

A graffiti threat was discovered Thursday in a restroom by a faculty member alluding to dangerous and criminal activity that could occur between 11:15 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. Friday.

Classes remained in session and all regular activities were conducted as scheduled.
