DELAWARE COUNTY (WISH) - Police have identified a man killed in a head-on collision Monday morning.

Officials say 40-year-old Clinton Roberts was killed in the accident on SR 332.

An Elwood man will be jailed after Delaware County's third fatal crash in three days early Monday on Ind. 332

Delaware County authorities are investigating their third fatality in just over three days.

The latest accident was just before 3 a.m. Monday on Ind. 332 between county roads 700 West and 800 West.

Sheriff's investigators say a pick up truck was traveling east in the west lane and crashed head-on into a passenger vehicle.

Roberts was killed in the incident.

The wrong-way driver of the pickup, 33-year-old Derrick W. Harris of Elwood has been arrested and charged on four counts, the most serious being operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, causing death.

A passenger in the pickup was also injured. Rescue crews had to cut Roberts out of the vehicle and took him to Ball Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Delaware County also recorded two other fatalities - one Friday at Ind. 67 and Granville Avenue. The other was Saturday at Ind. 3 and the Muncie bypass.
