JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. (WISH) - A man is facing an OWI and cocaine charges after a routine traffic stop.
Thursday night, a state trooper stopped a 2011 Chevy for a traffic violation in Jeffersonville. During the traffic stop, the trooper determined the driver, 49-year-old Joe L. Ray, was driving under the influence of alcohol.
The trooper searched Ray's vehicle and found five grams of suspected cocaine and paraphernalia.
Ray is charged with dealing cocaine, possession of cocaine, possession of paraphernalia, and was issued and OWI.
Ray is currently being held in the Clark County Jail.
