INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - One person died after a shooting on the northeast side around 9:43 p.m. Tuesday, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officials said.
The incident happened in the 3400 block of North Chester Avenue.
Officers found the man in the front yard. He was taken to Wishard Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His name has not yet been released.
Investigators are still looking into the details surrounding the death, but it's possible a disturbance led to the shooting. Several people were being questioned.
