BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (WISH) - Indiana State Excise Police officers arrested 18 people on 23 charges at Indiana University on Saturday.

Arrests were made during Indiana’s game against the University of Iowa.

Officers arrested 17 people for illegal consumption or possession of alcohol. Two people were charged for possession of false ID.

Police say one person was charged with making a false statement of age and one adult was arrested for furnishing or providing alcohol to a minor.

A 19-year-old woman was arrested for illegal consumption, public intoxication and false informing. She tested a .245 percent blood alcohol content.

Excise police in South Bend issued 53 tickets and cited a liquor store Friday night.

Four people were arrested for illegal possession or consumption of alcohol. Two minors were also charged - one for being in a tavern or liquor store and another with possession of false ID.

Two adults were charged with aiding or inducing a minor to possess an alcoholic beverage.

A student visiting from Virginia was picked up by police after he was found lost three miles from campus. Police say the man was wearing a "Happy City Police Department" uniform.

Three people were arrested on drug-related charges. They were taken to jail on outstanding arrest warrants.

Thirty-seven people were charged for traffic offenses and four were given warnings for traffic violations.

A liquor store, Belmont Liquors, located at 1621 South Bend Avenue, was preliminarily charged with allowing a minor to loiter and sale of alcohol to a minor.
