WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WISH) - Indiana State Excise Police arrested 67 people on 77 charges in West Lafayette on Friday and Saturday.
Police say 38 minors were arrested for illegal possession or consumption of alcohol. Two of those minors required transportation to the hospital for medical treatment due to their high levels of intoxication.
Sunday morning, officers found a 19-year-old girl in front of a dorm vomiting. She thought she was still at the Sigma Chi fraternity and could not stand without help. She tested a .22 percent blood alcohol content. She was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Purdue Fire crews also took a 20-year-old man to the hospital after he was unable to stand without assistance and told officers that Mitt Romney was president.
He faces preliminary charges of illegal consumption of alcohol.
Officers also arrested 12 people for furnishing or providing alcohol to minors.
Two minors were charged with possession of false ID. Police arrested 25 other people for a variety of offenses and also issued 15 warning tickets for alcohol offenses and traffic violations.
