MADISON COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) - Madison County officials have arrested a nurse on charges of interfering with medical services.
According to a release from the Madison County Sheriff's Department, a home health care company contacted authorities about a nurse who they believed had been stealing a patient's medication. Officials say 41-year-old Laura D. Meyer turned herself in to investigators early Monday morning.
Meyer was taken to the Madison County Detention Center on charges of interfering with medical services, theft and possession of a controlled substance. She has since been released on bail.
