ANDERSON, Ind. (Herald Bulletin) - Police in Anderson are asking for the public's help in locating a suspect in Sunday's drug-related shooting who they believe has fled the city.
Darius Alexander Hardiman is described as a black male with light complexion, 5 feet 8 inches tall, 140 pounds, and braided hair, 24-Hour News 8's news partner The Herald Bulletin reports.
He faces attempted murder charges after a 25-year-old man was shot in the head twice on Sunday.
Police believe he may have fled to Terre Haute, where he was recently released from prison, or Evansville, where he has connections.
Anyone with information on Hardiman's whereabouts is asked to call the Anderson Police Department at 765-648-6758. Members of the public should not make contact with Hardiman, as he is considered to be armed and dangerous.
