RICHMOND, Ind. (WISH) - Richmond Police arrested a man early Friday morning for a pharmacy robbery, and they think he may be tied to four others in recent weeks.
Timothy Lewis, 33, was arrested in the 1500 block of North D Street in Richmond after police chased him down on foot.
Police officials said Lewis robbed a CVS Pharmacy at 1515 E. Main St. and said he’d shoot the clerk, though he didn’t show a weapon and officers never found one. The incident happened around 4 a.m.
Richmond Police are still investigating the robbery and said Lewis is a suspect in attempted robberies at Phillip’s Drug Store and LeeBee’s Tobacoo on Sept. 26. He’s also a suspect in robberies of the same CVS on Sept. 9 and Sept. 19.
Lewis was arrested on preliminary charges of robbery, a Class B felony, and resisting law enforcement, a Class A misdemeanor.
