ELKHART, Ind. (AP) - Northern Indiana police are investigating the deaths of a man and a woman whose bodies were found at different locations in Elkhart County.
Lt. Travis Adamson of the county sheriff's department says police are investigating the woman's death as a suspected homicide. Her body was found about 11 a.m. Saturday outside the former American Countryside farmers market just south of the city of Elkhart.
Adamson tells The Elkhart Truth investigators are working with the Elkhart Police Department to determine if the woman's death might be connected to the death of a man whose body was found outside a restaurant about an hour later.
The man's body was found in the parking lot of Poor Tony's eatery in Elkhart, about 15 miles east of South Bend.
