INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Police have arrested a man they say admitted raping a 15-year-old girl.
Detectives were in the Irvington neighborhood Tuesday night with fliers, hoping to track down the suspect.
On Wednesday, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officials said they arrested 31-year-old Donald Wilson, of Indianapolis. The rape was reported in the unit block of South Audubon Road on Saturday morning.
Deputies from the Marion County Sex Offender Registry tipped officers off to the possibility that the man they were searching for might be Wilson. When confronted Wednesday morning, Wilson reportedly confessed.
Wilson was arrested, but his preliminary charges weren't immediately available.
