INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A Tipton man was arrested Thursday in connection with a kidnapping and armed robbery incident on Feb. 9.

According to a release, a victim told Howard County Sheriff’s deputies she was giving Brian Isenhower, 36, a ride to a friend’s house in Kokomo when he allegedly pointed a gun at her and ordered her to drive out into the country. He then allegedly ordered her out of the vehicle and took her purse, shoes, and coat and told her to walk down the road. Isenhower then fled in her vehicle.

On Thursday, Indianapolis Metropolitan police received a tip that Isenhower was at a motel in the 8000 block of North Shadeland Avenue, Indianapolis. Police arrested him and also found evidence in the room linking him to the crimes.

Isenhower has been charged with kidnapping, a Class A felony; armed robbery, a Class B felony; and carjacking, a Class B felony.

This case remains under investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact Howard County Sheriff Detective Jordan Buckley at (765) 456-2031.
