Police: Man killed mom, half-sister

MONTICELLO, Ind. (WISH) - Police say a 20-year-old Monticello man fatally stabbed his mother and half-sister early Saturday morning.
Officers received a call about a possible stabbing in Monticello around 1:20 a.m.
Police arrived on scene to find that David Scott Rodenbarger stabbed his mother, Michelle Haskins, and half-sister, Jillian Haskins.
Michelle was able to call 911, but died from her injuries on scene. Jillian, 7, was taken to White County Memorial Hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
Police have taken Rodenbarger to the White County Jail where he is facing murder charges.
This is an ongoing investigation.
